The EURIAS Consortium welcomes a new member

The EURIAS Fellowship Programme welcomes the Polish Institute of Advanced Studies (PIASt)

The new Consortium of European Institutes for Advanced Study Fellowship Programme brings together 19 institutes for Advanced Study in Europe: Aahrus, Amsterdam, Berlin, Bologna, Budapest, Cambridge, Delmenhorst, Edinburgh, Freiburg, Helsinki, Jerusalem, Lyon, Madrid, Marseille, Paris, Uppsala, Vienna, Warsaw & Zürich.

PIASt has been recently established by the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences as an independent centre of research which should complement the national institutional and scientific landscape. The Institute offers a base for a small international learning community of high-level scholars willing to devote themselves entirely to their research work, while being freed from their usual teaching and administration constraints.
